State your organizations mission statement
Noor Al-Marifa Al-Khairia Association is a charitable institution which primary mission is to assist the Palestinian students from the very beginning of his/her study path till graduation. Then it aims to help families who are needy and with out secure source of income. It supports them with some needed things to meet the need of living conditions in the time of conflict and economical deviations. In addition, it sponsors children poor, needy and orphans- as well as the families who serve students, either in the universities or schools. The association is located in a poor area called the new Camp. This spot suffers from poverty and insecure source of income. Regarding the current conflict in Gaza Strip, many families have lost their income because of the destruction of houses and farms, and/or because of the continuous closure caused by the Israeli occupation between the areas from the South to the North of Gaza Strip.
Noor Al-Marifa Al-Khairia Association is located in the Middle Area of Gaza Strip in Nuseirat Camp. It was registered in the Ministry of Interiors, and started its works in August 2000. It works in multiple fields to help and support the Palestinians either in the Middle Camps Area or different places in Gaza Strip. The associations main goal is to help the families, students and children in the time of conflict and to meet the urgent need for needy households in Nuseirat camp, in particular, and in Gaza Strip, in general.
